A PHP Developer is responsible for creating and implementing an array of Web-based products using PHP, MySQL, Ajax, and JavaScript. He develops back-end components, connect the application with other web services, and assist front-end developers by ensuring their work integrates with the application.

Code Analysis
He conducts a rigorous analysis of the website or webpage requirements. This involves a brainstorming session with a development team to either come up with ideas for a new site/page or a complete revamp of an existing one. He will need to determine the feasibility of each idea before identifying the best way to proceed. He is also expected to offer details on the site’s features and functionalities.
Development & Database Optimisation
Use his technical knowledge to develop the site/page as per the final plan. What he creates must be dynamic and include the advantages of PHP Script. A PHP Developer is expected to develop a portal with an optimised database.
Testing
He has to test the site/page for every conceivable error and get feedback from the client. Once he has located errors, debug them and finalise the site/page. After receiving approval, implement the webpage or host the site online.
Maintenance
A PHP Developer`s job is not done when the website/webpage has been published! He must update it continuously and alter functionalities from time to time to improve visibility and user experience.

Good knowledge of SQL and related databases, with a preference for those with MySQL experience.
Excellent knowledge of the basic PHP 7 or web server exploits along with their solutions.
Experience building or maintaining a CMS.
